CompliLearn Reassigning Previously Completed Training

Courses and Learning Items

Courses and learning items may need to be reassigned on a regular or repetitive basis. If courses or learning items have been completed, they can be reassigned as required.

Learners see a complete history of their training, including any repeated training. Administrators only see the most recent record. Historical data can be provided on request.

To provide comprehensive reporting, we recommend creating a new version of training for reassignment.

Reassigning by Bulk Upload

Step-By-Step Guide

If using the same version of training that has previously been completed:

  1. Download a list of users with their email address to be reassigned the training:
    1. Go to Administer/Users or Administer/Enrolments
    2. Click Config and select Email (if not already included in the report)
    3. Click Filter: filter the user list by the staff to be reassigned the training, for example: on Users - by group, on Enrolments - by completed 
    4. Click the checkbox next to Name in the title row of the table. This selects all staff who meet your filter criteria
    5. Click Export as CSV
    6. Click Export
    7. Click Download and save the file to your desktop
    8. Close the export window
  2. Format the list of users for enrolment:
    1. Delete all columns except Email
    2. Add three new column headers: Status, Start date, End date (note the capitals)

    3. In Status, add not-started for all users

    4. In Start date, add the relevant start date
    5. Leave End date blank
    6. Save the file
  3. Go to the Administer/Enrolments screen
  4. Click Import...
  5. Search for and select the course name
  6. Upload the file you have saved. (A CSV template can be downloaded from this screen but is not required if you’ve downloaded the filtered report.)
  7. Click Import

Note: due dates cannot be added to enrolments

Reassigning to Individuals

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to the Course to be reassign
  2. Click Reports
  3. Search or filter to show the individual's record in the course
  4. Under Actions, click the three-dot button
  5. Select Re-enrol

Awards

Step-by-Step Guide

On creation, an Award can be setup with an Expiry date.

  1. Go to the Award
  2. Click Settings
  3. Select Expiration
  4. Select Yes and assign the expiry rule - either a fixed date or a period of time from completion

Be aware: expiry rules should be set before assigning the Award
