Why Contextualised Content is Important

PolicyConnect content is contextualised to reflect the legal and regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction and your registration compliance requirements. PolicyConnect has been designed to simplify and minimise the resource requirements to contextualise your site's content to become your school's own.

All schools in Victoria are governed by the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) (the Act). Registration is governed by the Guidelines to the Minimum Standards and Requirements for School Registration (VRQA Guidelines), issued by VRQA which sets out the evidence schools are required to produce to ensure compliance with the Act and the Education and Training Reform Regulations 2017 (ETR Regs).

Contextualised content is a fundamental method of demonstrating your compliance with Legislation and Registration Guidelines as well as empowering staff understanding and uptake to support and embed a resilient Child Safe Culture within your school.

All of the PolicyConnect content has been mapped to the VRQA and CECV Registration Guidelines as well as the legal requirements of OHS Laws, Child Safety requirements which will include the recommendations of the National Child Safety Principals in 2020.

To support each school onboarding, we have developed a simplified onboarding now completed directly through your PolicyConnect App. You will notice you have a Welcome to CompliSpace module on the left-hand side navigation, this is where we will complete the next activities.
