Board Governance Module

The Board Governance Module (formerly Boardroom Online) provides a secure space to provide policies, procedures, and information to enhance the governance of your school. This includes:

• Board meeting outcomes, agendas and minutes

• School governance issues (child protection, school registration, responsible person responsibilities)

• General board governance matters (external audits, board performance evaluation, conflicts of interest)

HR Administrator Module

The HR Administrator Module provides a secure space to assist HR administrators manage internal processes such as:

• Recruitment and Selection procedures with associated documentation that is designed to meet the requirements of the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards, and anti-discrimination and privacy requirements

• Discipline and Termination guidance which include performance management, redundancy, summary dismissal and notice periods

• Performance Monitoring, Professional Development and Review applying best practice child safe principles

• Induction

• Record Keeping.

Secure User Roles

Both the Board Governance Module and the HR Administrator Module are ‘Secure Sections’, meaning that they are only visible to users that have been assigned the PolicyConnect Board Governance and PolicyConnect HR Administrator roles.

These are a stand-alone permission levels and will not allow access to a PolicyConnect site by themselves. They must be assigned in addition to a standard user role.

For sites that rely on a CompliSpace User Directory for user access, these role may be assigned to accounts by user directory administrators. For sites relying on single sign-on, this role may be assigned to accounts by your internal IT administrators.
