How do I customise my Registers & Forms Template?

This section outlines how to customise the form in the Details tab to include things such as instructions for use or a description of the form.



Step-By-Step Guide


  1. Click on the Gearwheel at the top right of your Assurance Screen and select Registers & Forms Templates.

  2. Your Registers & Forms Templates will list all your templates.
    Note: if a template is not showing check your filters are clear or that the Template Status filter isn't set to show only Active templates.

  3. Click on the name of your Template, to open your Template set up.

Further set up of the template is done on several tabs.  Below is some key information that is needed.

  • Details - basic template information
    • Name - name of the template
    • Prefix - this forms part of the unique Key
    • Category - templates can be associated to categories for easy menu views
    •  Status
      • Inactive - template can be worked on as a draft until it is ready to publish to other users
      • Active - template is available to Assurance users
    • Super Sensitive -  access to the template is restricted
      This relates to confidential matters (eg Complaints).  This will result in the form only being able to be reviewed/managed by Super Users (users with access to the whole platform).
    • Ability to make Registers & Forms Confidential
      This will make the form only be visible to selected users, the Person Responsible and any approvers.
    • Description - provides an area to articulate the purpose of the form
    • Instructions - this text can detail any specific instructions to the user and will show at the top of the form
    • Notifications Before/After End Date - reminder emails can be scheduled
    • Ability to create Registers & Forms by Import
    • Credentials and Eligibility Criteria
  • Workflow - management of the stages and approvals
  • Fields - management of the fields
  • Notifications - management of the notifications

  • Reference Documents
  • Recommended Tasks
  • Recommended Checklists
  • Public Link - management of the template availability to external users
  • History - provides information around template changes
