Resending a Welcome Email

If a user fails to set up their account within a week of the creation date, the link in the email will expire and the user will not be able to log in. Rather than recreating the account, it is possible to re-send the welcome email with a fresh link directly from the user directory interface.

To resend a welcome email:

  1. Log into your user directory and locate your user within the table.

     

  2. Click on the reset icon next to their name as shown below. Note that if the user has already set up their account, this button will be greyed out.

     

  3. If the action was performed successfully, you will receive a confirmation message.

     

  4. The user will then receive an email similar to the one shown below. They will then need to follow the link and follow the instructions to complete their account set up.
