NSW Child Protection Module Update - April 2020
CompliSpace has updated your Child Protection Module to include a statement describing the training included as part of the Module in CompliLearn.
The following text has been added as a new subsection in the “Child Abuse and Harm Definitions, Identification and Initial Responses” policy titled “Staff Training”:
“All staff are required to participate in child protection training at least annually through our online staff learning system CompliLearn.
Relevant volunteers and contractors may also be required to complete child protection training.
Our Child Protection Policies Learning Course in CompliLearn includes the following modules:
Overview of Child Protection at the School
The Meaning of Child Abuse and Key Risk Indicators
The Legal and Regulatory Child Protection Framework
Incident Response
Reporting to External Agencies
Working with Children Checks
Professional Boundaries
Through CompliLearn the {{SchoolCAPS}} creates and maintains electronic records of child protection training completed by staff, volunteers and contractors.”
This statement has been added following feedback from the regulator that they would like the training modules to be described in the Policy.
There is no further action required to finalise this update.
