How do I create a copy of an existing Registers and Forms Template?

Some Assurance Register or Form Templates are very similar, so instead of recreating a Template from scratch you may want to make a copy of an existing template and then make some small changes.  For example you may want separate Complaint Forms for Internal Complaints and External Complaints.  The majority of the Template Fields may be the same with different form management or access.


Step-By-Step Guide


  1. Within the Registers & Forms Templates screen, click on the Template you would like to copy.

  2. Click on Copy.  You will be prompted to provide a new Template Name and Prefix and click Create.

This will bring up the successfully created template.

Further set up of the template is done on several tabs.  Below is some key information that is needed.

  • Details - basic template information
  • Workflow - management of the stages and approvals
  • Fields - management of the fields
  • Notifications - management of the notifications
  • MergeDocs
  • Reference Documents
  • Recommended Tasks
  • Recommended Checklists
  • Public Link - management of the template availability to external users
  • History - provides information around template changes
