Long Text

Single Select
formatted as either a drop down list or radio buttons.
the radio buttons can be laid out in a number of columns and various functionality like default answers and dependent fields are available on Single Select fields.
Multi-Select
formatted as either check boxes or a drop down list.
the checkboxes can be laid out in a number of columns.
Numeric Fields
you can choose the number of decimal places to be displayed.
this can also be a currency field.
Date fields
Time fields
URL fields
these can be used when you want the respondent to link to a website or even internal intranet files.
Attachment Fields
these are particularly useful where you want attachments to a particular section, such as Evidence of Performance.
Address Fields
this provides address field boxes including Country and State/Province dropdowns.
Scale Fields
this allows an answer across a scale. This has the added sophistication of being able to set the maximum value, select the default response and the steps that are available to be selected i.e: If the scale is from 0 to 5, if you select a step of 1 - then 0,1,2,3,4,5 are available to be selected.
Hierarchy Fields
these fields work similar to Multi-Select fields in a dropdown, but the answers are set up in a tree structure. These fields are a little more involved in the setup, so for more detailed instructions see the page https://complispace-jira.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CS/pages/203162632 .
Instructions Fields
these are used when you want to give instructions on a Registers & Forms, such as instructions at the bottom that you want the user to read before they submit. These instructions can be highlighted in different colours, and are visible in both the View and Edit modes.
Email Fields
used when you want the user to enter an email. The Email field type forces the answer to be in an email format eg John.Citizen@example.com.
