Group Contextualisation

Any contextualisation completed by a PolicyConnect Group Administrator at the parent level will push their changes to all child sites.

By default, any context key or variable that is edited at the parent level will be editable by PolicyConnect Administrators at the child level. If a context key or variable is edited at the child level, any subsequent changes at the parent level will overwrite the changes on the child site.

To prevent PolicyConnect Administrators from editing context keys or variables at the child level, PolicyConnect Group Administrators have the option to ‘Group Lock' their changes.

Group Locking

  1. Navigate to your parent site.

  2. Locate the context key or variable you wish to group lock. To learn how to do this, please see our Managing your PolicyConnect Context Keys guides.

  3. Edit the context key or variable.

  4. Check the option to group lock your context key or variable.

  5. Click Save.
