The manual notification function allows you filter and send email notifications from within the system to your users. You can select one user, all users, or a filtered list of users to send a notification to. The notification has no predefined text - simply set it up like a normal email.
How to Send a Manual Notification
Step-by-Step Guide
- Set up a filter to show the staff members to whom you would like to send a notification.
- To provide an audit trail, we recommend always including yourself in the list.
- Select everyone in your report by checking the box on the left-hand side in the header. Alternatively, check the box to the left of an individual to select them
- On the new toolbar that appears above the table click the three-dot button
- Click Send notification
- The notification popup has two sections:
- In-app notification: sends a pop-up message to selected users in the system (not commonly used)
- Email notification: sends an email message to the selected users
- In the Email Notification section:
- Type in an email subject
- Type in your email message
- Use the tokens to personalise your text (see below)
- Click Send
