The File Library is where all the files (documents, logos, images etc.) are stored. It is similar to the hard drive of your computer. To be able to link or attach and view files on your PolicyPlus website, these files must be uploaded to the File Library. Only Administrators have access to the File Library.
In the File Library, there are different ‘sections’. An administrator’s privileges will determine which section they can access.
For example, Administrators with Public permissions will be able to access and view these files. Files on public pages will need to be saved to this section of the File Library as all staff will have access to the public section of your PolicyPlus website.
‘Global’ is a section which anyone can have access to. Other ‘sections’ may include ‘Boardroom Online’ and/or ‘Tools Admin’ etc.
Some sections are secure sections which can only be accessed by few individuals who have been assigned relevant privileges to view those secure sections e.g. HR Administration (Managers Only).
CompliSpaceTV contains video tutorials on the administrator functions of the PolicyPlus and Assurance systems. This does require a login to access, which can be requested from the Help Desk team.
