To create a module, you must first have enabled Client Modules via the feature toggle. Please see our Enabling Custom Modules Via the Feature Toggle guide if you are not sure how to do this.

  1. Once Client Modules have been enabled, you should now see a slider in your top menu bar. This slider enables or disables draft mode. Click it to turn draft mode on.

  2. Once draft mode has been turned on, you should now see a blue Create button above your module list.

  3. To begin creating a module, click the blue ‘Create’ button, which will bring up a pop-up window. Select ‘Empty Module’ and then click the ‘Next’ button.

  4. In the next window, enter a name for your module. This is the name that will be displayed in the left-hand side menu. When you are done, click the ‘Create’ button

  5. Your new module will now appear in the module list in the left-hand side menu.

  6. In the left-hand side menu, expand the module by clicking on it’s title, then select the first heading. This will take you to your newly created module page from which you can add and edit content. Click the pencil icon to bring up an editing window.

  7. Enter your custom content and then click the floppy disk icon to save your changes.

  8. To make your changes visible, you first must publish them. In the left hand navigation menu, your new module will now have a blue number icon next to it. Click this icon to bring up the publishing window.

  9. Enter a description of your changes and click the Publish button. Your changes are now visible to general users.
