Go1, our software partner, is rolling out updates to the Staff Learning System portals. You may have already noticed recent changes to your portal. Some of the key changes released this month are described below.
1-Player
A new feature for: All Learners.
What it is: A new way for users to interact with content including a new view. 1-Player contains all of the useful information previously only found on a course's My Progress page, when a learner enrols in a course they will now jump straight from the course’s Overview page to the 1-Player. Learners will also be directed straight to the 1-Player from all other areas of the platform if they are already enrolled in the course. It gives Learners quicker access to learning content and lessens confusion for learners on what to do next within a course.
Content Dashboard
A new feature for: Content Admins/Admins.
What it is: A new view for portal admins and content admins to see what content is shared to their portal and what content they should share to their learners in the Explore page. Content Dashboard enables you as the administrator more visibility and control over your library subscription so you can browse, curate, and push training to your learners all from one section of the Go1 Platform.
Preview Content
A new feature for: All Learners.
Description: Preview allows learners in the Explore page to preview content before enrolling into it. Learners can click to preview the description for an item of content, without having to navigate away from search results.
