How do I add dependent fields to Tasks?
You can add dependent fields to a task or action based on the task category. For example if the task category is ???, you could then see ??? or ??? field.
Step-By-Step Guide
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
To do this click on the admin gearwheel in the top right then select Layouts. On the layouts page select Tasks.
To add a dependent field, first click on the field that the other field is dependent on, in this case that being the Task Category:
Click on the Dependent button and use the search pop-up to select and add the field. This can be done by clicking in the search area and choosing a field from the dropdown or by typing in the field name.
Click the blue tick.
Now depending on the task category chosen, different field options will show to the user.
