How do I use the Risk Dashboard?

The Assurance Risk Dashboard contains a number of snapshots for assessing and reporting on the risks currently in your Assurance site.


Step-By-Step Guide


To access the Risk Dashboard click on Dashboards on the top of the screen and select Risk Dashboard:


Note: Each Snapshot has a ‘Settings’ popup that can be used to filter the Snapshot by various factors:






















The Snapshots available on this screen are:




Risk

This Snapshot shows the risks that are visible to you and where they sit on your organisation’s risk matrix:

You can click on a square to see more information on the risks with that rating.



Risk Gap

This Snapshot shows the number of risks on your Assurance site that have a rating above or below their Target Risk:

You can click on a number to view more information on the risks with that rating.

Risk by Business Unit

This Snapshot separates the risks in your system into their respective business units, then further breaks that down into the percentage of ratings within each Business Unit:

You can hover over a section of the bar to see the exact percentage of Risks with that rating in that Business Unit, and click on the section to see more information on those Risks.

Risk By Risk Classification

This Snapshot separates the risks in your site into their respective classifications, then further breaks that down into the percentage of ratings within each classification:

You can hover over a section of the bar to see the exact percentage of risks with that rating in that classification, and click on the section to see more information on those risks.

Risk Trend

This Snapshot shows the trend of your risk over a period of time. Each line represents a particular risk rating, and hovering over a line will show the number of risks with that rating in that interval:

You can focus on a particular line by clicking on the corresponding risk rating at the bottom of the Snapshot. You can click on a line to see more information on the risks created in that interval.

Risk Tasks Trend

This Snapshot shows the number of actions attached to risks that were due that month vs. how many were completed. Each line represents a particular action status, and hovering over that line will show the number of actions with that status in the interval:

Risk Checklist Snapshot

This Snapshot shows the number of checklists attached to risks that were due that month vs. how many were completed. Each line represents a particular checklist status, and hovering over that line will show the number of checklists with that status in the interval:

Overdue Risk Reviews

This Snapshot shows the number of risk reviews that are overdue, broken down by how long the review has been overdue:

You can hover over a block to see the number of risks with that rating that are overdue in that period, and click on the block to see more information on those risks.

Control Rating Breakdown by Residual Risk

This Snapshot breaks down the risks in your system by their control rating, then further breaks down each bar by their risk rating:
