PCG Excursion Status - what does it mean?

| Status Type | What it means… | What happens next? |

| So, you have proposed an excursion… | ||
 | You have submitted your proposal to your approver and now need to await for your approver to review your excursion proposal. | • Your proposal is pending review from your approver • You can view your proposal at any time by going to the “Proposals” tab on your home page |
 | Your approver has reviewed your proposal and requires either: a) More information b) Change/edit to information you submitted | • You will receive an e-mail informing you of your approvers decision • Continue to your proposal • Edit the proposal • Submit to your approver for review |
 | Your approver has reviewed your proposal and has given you “pre-approval” | • You will receive an e-mail informing you of your approvers decision • You now need to access the excursion in the “Current Excursions” tab on your home page • You must now complete your Excursion Space |
 | Your approver has not granted approval and you may not go on this excursion. | • Your approver has not granted approval • Your excursion will now reside in the “Archive” tab of your home page • You cannot go on this excursion |
| So, you have submitted your Excursion Space for final approval… | ||
 | Your approver has reviewed your excursion and the risk management sections and deemed it as ‘Approved’. | • You can now go on the excursion with the students |
 | You OR an approver/administrator has cancelled your excursion and are no longer going. | • Your excursion will now reside in the “Archive” tab of your home page |
 | Your approver has reviewed your proposal and requires either: • More information • Change/edit to information you submitted | • You now need to access the excursion in the “Current Excursions” tab on your home page • Make the required changes to your excursion and re-submit to your approver for final approval review |
