What are the data import rules for importing Checklist questions?

These are a number of data import rules that apply to importing Checklist questions that you should be aware of:

Name

The name of the question.

Free text field with character limit of 255 characters.

Select the type of answer you expect from the question, depending on what you select you may need to complete additional columns.

Instructions

Enter the instructions for the question that you wish to see on the Checklist.

Category

Select the question category the question belongs to.

Question categories are set up by the administrator. If you leave this blank, it will remain uncategorised.

Evidence/Comments

This field allows users to hide the Evidence and Comments fields on a per question basis. If this has already been turned off for the whole checklist, the field must remain blank.

Answer yes if it is currency, otherwise leave blank.

Display Columns

How many columns should the single or multi-select values appear in. This is only relevant where Check Boxes or Radio Buttons have been selected.

Enter values of the single select or multi-select field, separated by commas.

Scale 0 to

Only for Scale based questions, the end point of the scale (eg; type in 5 for a scale of 0 – 5).

Default value is 5 – any other numeric value (other than 0) is acceptable.

Scale Step

A value of 1 in a scale of 0 = 5 will mean the user can select 0,1,2,3,4,5 as permissible answers. If the value is set as 5, then only 0 to 5  can be selected.

If no response is selected, what should be the default selection. The Scale Start will mean 0, the end will be maximum value.
