How to view what a general user/staff member will see

As an administrator in PolicyConnect you can easily view your site from the perspective of a general user by using the view selection function in the settings menu.

  1. In the top menu bar, locate the view selection button. By hovering over the button, you can see the name of the view you will be switching to when the button is clicked.

     

  2. Click the button to be taken to the Client User view.
    You will now see your PolicyConnect site from the perspective of a general user. You will notice that the edit icons for Quick Links and the sliders next to content items in the left-hand menu have disappeared.

  3. To return to administrator view, simply click the view selection icon once again.
