Update to SDC

New section in Bullying Prevention and Intervention titled “Bullying Support Services”. This allows a space within the policy for your school to document the names and contact details of their Youth Liaison Officer and/or School Liaison Officer/s.

There are 8 new Context Keys arising out of this update that need to be completed:

• Variable Questions (please search for these in your Context Library and answer Yes/No):

  • Does your school have a Youth Liaison Officer assigned to it? YouthLiaisonOfficer

Update to NSW Child Protection

Minor update to the Implementation section of the Child Abuse and Harm Definitions, Identification and Initial Responses policy. The update adds wording to the staff training bullet point in the Implementation section, and includes a new Context Key to allow the school to insert the timing of the provision of Child Protection training (e.g. in Term 3 or within 3 weeks of new employment).
